Even though I wasonly young when Elvis died I can remember the day very clearly. We used to love watching the Elvis films that seemed to be on every day through the summer holidays.
My Mum has loads of albums which have all been defaced quite along time ago by my Dad(Jealous you see) he did make up for it acouple of years ago when he took Mum to Gracelands.
No one could sing a ballad like Elvis.

i loved Elvis Presley and was absolutely devastated by his death!!! thank God his music is still strong today!!!

No CDV unfortunately I wish I did still have one it would be worth a small fortune ! I have to put up with the CD's now instead !!!!

Elvis= performance genius noone has ever come close to him. The music of today is rooted in his unique style and performance. Often his later performances are knocked but if you put aside his physical appearance and watch and listen, you are witnessing raw emotion. As my mum says (she saw him live) 'his voice came from his sole and reached the heavens'.

I grew up listening to his music and so have my kids.
