Hi there:)
I've just find this forum, and find it very interresting. I am a first timer and I am struggling to find a good deal to go to orlando. Family of 4, kids 7 and 3. we wish to go around the 6th of February this year; but we are very flexible, as long as we found a good deal, we will be happy to go any other time.

What is the best deal you ever find to go to Orlando and with which company?

Thanks a lot in advance, I don't have a lot of time to plan, so any advice will be welcome.

I booked for the two of us last week to go End April/ first two weeks in May. If you are looking to go in Feb, I would hurry up and start looking for flights.
We booked with Expedia as they had the cheapest flight and Hotel combined. Virgin Flight, same price as Virgin website. You can cheapen up the flight even more by having one stop. Delta are good with this.
You need to decide which is best for you, Hotel or Villa. There are some good villa's linked at the top of the page, very relaxing to have your own place/pool, especially when you are tired after the parks.
I am going in a hotel this time so can't comment on that till I've done it.
Get yourself on the internet and start looking. Try flights link at top of page, expedia, airline network, Virgin, BA. You could even try airtourscancellations.com I think it is, see what discounted packages you can find.
Lots for you to be getting on with there!

I paid £288.30 each,we fly on 27th April and return on 11th May....did want to go around the 6th May,but as these deals came up we decided it did,'t make that much difference if we went a few days earlier.

I was pricing up for May, just being nosey ( can't afford to go this year, want to do work on house) here is the breakdown of what I got quoted

5/5/06 - 19/5/06

Virgin atlantic Adult £327

Child £245

Surcharges £464[msnoo]

Total £1,690.80

Looking at these prices compared to what I have been quoted before I think these are good price, don't know about anyone elses opinion?

In view of where you live try a regional airport - Bristol/Newark/Orlando is a very economical trip, I fly tomorrow for just over £300. The Bristol flight leaves at 11.05 am and if you check-in online you only have to be there 60 mins beforehand so plenty of time to get from Reading

Love your avatar by the way guys. Donkey.

The bit in Shrek 2 where he turns into the white stallion makes me laugh every time.

"I can Whinnie, (whinnniiiiieeee) I can count (stomp stomp stomp) and I can do this..(little dance)

Priceless.

Sorry, digressing.
