We are flying Bmi direct to Vegas in April and it goes from T1 at Manchester,as it says we can check in the night before we have decided to stay the night before and stay at a hotel, which would be the nearest to T1 we do not require parking at the hotel as we use a taxi to take us and bring us back.

Hi Ravtino,
We did BMI to Vegas 2 years ago but had to stop in Chicago. The BMI flight was excellent I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Sounds great!

The nearest hotels would be the SAS Radisson, Bewleys or the Crown Plaza[msnwink]

If you stay at the Radisson you walk direct to T1 through the Sky link elevated walkway thats links T1, T2, T3 and the railway station[msnsmile2] Heres the link ............

I have been to a conference at the Radission. From what I saw of it it's a nice hotel and as Julie has said very close to the terminals. The restaurant actually overlooks some of the gates for the planes, but you wouldn't know that in terms of the noise they make taking off and landing.

Checked it out, cheapest room £145 for the night, unless anyone knows any better deals for it?[msnwink] I know we live near enough to drive but the early starts are horrid!

You can search for better deals, another airport hotel is the Etrop Grange its a stones throw from the Radisson and has a car thats drops you at the terminal, its a really lovely country house hotel and if you look on laterooms.com they have deals for next week for £60, here a link for the hotel for you to look at...

I would stay there and I am very fussy[msnwink] I have had afternoon tea there many times!!

Checked it out, they do not allow 2 ads and a ch in 1 one so it would mean 2 rooms, keep em coming[msnsmile2]
Looked at Bewleys, this looks OK

Bewleys used to be Holiday Inn Express, they have extended it recently, and its just as close as the Radisson but you would have to walk accross the road, but I am sure they have a bus[msnwink]

There is also the Hilton, which I forgot to mention too[msnwink]

Hi Bewleys is the cheapest option, they have two double beds in each room, the cost is £69 per room per night, nice clean rooms, good bar and dining room, they have a bus across to the terminal every half an hour but its only a 200 yard walk to terminal one,we have stayed at radisson,Crowne Plaza and the Hilton on the airport or pretty similar standard and all the same distance to the terminals more or less. Have a great time Eric

We have just returned from the US having travelled with BMI.
We did the check in the night before and its great.
We drove straight to the airport and parked in the short stay car park. Checked in (Open from 7pm until 10pm) and there was no queues as well as two desks open. Got rid of our cases and then drove the car to Bewleys, however you can walk in less than 5 mins. We left the car at the hotel and they transfer it onto Carminder 2. The hotel works out at £89 inc parking. We walked to the airport the next day 1 hour before departure after having a great all you can eat breakfast at Bewleys.

Hi Jan we go on the 6th of april for 2 weeks, we are staying in two hotels on the strip and then someone gave me a web site with villas on and we have picked a great villa off there for the other week, we will also have the car for two weeks so will be getting about.
Looks like it will be Bewlelys and check in the night before, Pieman 790 is it only 1hour before if you have checked in, I thought I read 2 on there web site?

Ravtino that sounds great I like the sound of the week on the strip and then a week in a villa. Could you please DM me with the website you used.
We are going to Florida on Wednesday and then to Las Vegas the following Thursday for 5 nights and flying back to UK from there.

We were told it didnt matter as long as you were through security and at the gate 30 mins prior to departure. Took us 10 mins to walk to security from the hotel, 5 mins in security and 5 mins to the gate but you may want to leave more time just in case security is busy.
Have a great time
