I thought last week that it would be Shane but having just watched all 3 sing I am not sure anymore. I think it will depend on the type of audience watching tonight. If there's loads of teenages watching especially girls, then I think you will probabaly be right. However, I think they will all make it in the music business as all 3 are really talented.

Give them all a contract!
I am sure that if Journey South do not win, Simon will still sign them up.

Andy has been good tonight!

As said b4, Journey South SHOULD win but Shayne will due to being more marketable.

Totally agree although they were all great tonight, Andy who I didn't think should make the final was brilliant I read in the papers today that he lost his Mum in October so he has worked so hard to get were he is tonight

They certainly know how to milk these shows don't they.

Andi Peters was just at the CD pressing plant saying Andy is the favourite. Hmmmm - I'd prefer to him Shayne I have to admit.

Still think Journey South were the best.

My favourite was Brenda by far. Not a great name for a pop star but a phenomenal singer and performer.

I am pleased that Shayne won, for me he was the best but very closely followed by Andy, who I hope will manage to make a career with his talent. Shaynes voice is wonderful. Chloe

B*gger, did not want that result:(, although he is the most marketable and I suspect that had a lot to do with it, there is absolutely nothing different about him at all. I suspect we will be hearing more of the others including Brenda. Ok time to switch allegience to American Idol starting in a couple of weeks! Wonder if they will find another Fantasia or Kelly Clarkson, both of whose albums are great.

I loved Brenda and hope that we haven't heard the last of Journey South.

I thought Brenda had the most talent and that Andy was the best of the three last night but I suspect neither of them would appeal to the average age of the voters.

18-12-2005, 13:26
Im a forty something and as much as I thought Brenda, Andy and JS have huge talent I think Shayne has real X factor[msnwink]

I think this is the first year there was a lot of real talent in the final and I am sure they will all get contracts[clap][clap]

Well done Shayne[clap][clap][clap]

I think the same as you Julie, I was mortified when my daughter reminded me that at 36 I'm old enough to be Shaynes Mum[msneek]

Sad to say I am 50+ and wanted Shayne to win from the beginning. Although I think that all the finalists (including Brenda) should definitely succeed in their musical careers.
I think the show last night was absolutely fantastic!!
I've recorded it for one of my daughters who had to go out last night, so I may be truly "sad" and watch it yet again today!

TV programme over the last 10 weeks (?) many would be searching for a career in the music business, some think they can sing! oh my God my dog can sing better, but they entertain us!!!
they are brought down through elimination to a final few and then voting starts as to who is the best singer!! (i think this is right, only watched the first few and then got into strictly come dancing!!!! Zoe didnt win[msncry])

Darren and Lilia, i think Colin Jackson and his partner would've won but they did a rediculos dance with dummies! so silly, but Darren such a big mans man, was great!!! he deserved to win!!!

I wanted Andy to win, thought all along it was a done deal that Shayne would get it. I guess he is more appealing to the youngsters, but when Andy sang "O Holy Night" I had goosebumps.

Went off Louis when he sent that lovely little 16 year old Trevor home just after bootcamp, he sang beautifully but didnt have the right image. Gotta have the right image these days.

I wanted Shane to win, so was please with that result and Darren and Lila was also a great result as he was definately the most improved although Colin was the better dancer.
