Sounds like a lot going on around the Gulf Coast in January Andrew. As I write this, my family and I are about to go out to the local Sanibel Christmas Festival. It's like going back to the 1950's with the Mayor turning on the Christmas Tree lights and the local children singing carols. The main road through the island is decorated in candles and fairy lights. All the stores are open late and have mulled wine, egg nog and home made cookies for their customers.

It's simple fun and about 100 times less of a spectacle than the events in Orlando but that's the attraction of it.

I know you're coming out to the Gulf Coast shortly so have a great time!
