Can anyone help with directions to Busch Gardens please? We are at Southern Dunes on the US27 (junction 23 of the I4)

Go south west on Interstate 4 almost into Tampa. You will then pick up signs for Busch Gardens.
I would recommend that you get a map though, because we went once and one of the roads was closed because of an accident and we had a lot of hassle trying to find Busch.

You can also get onto the I4 by going down the 17/92 to Lake Alfred then onto Auburndale and picking up the Polk Parkway toll road. It's quite cheap to use, a lot less traffic and it comes out down in Lakeland. It takes a bit less time than the other way.
Its also good if you want to get to Florida Ave in Lakeland as one of the exits is here.
It took us a couple of visists before we ventured on this road as the map of Polk we had didn't have it on it. The one we bought last time hasn't either but we decided to give it a try and see where it went after noticing that it was used last Feb when they closed off the I4 through smoke.

What's on Florida Ave that is worth visiting? I've never heard of it before.
We got badly lost on our last visit to Busch. They had been doing some construction and had removed the signs. As we were getting nearer to Tampa and all those skyscrapers were coming into view-I was getting into a panic-as I knew it was wrong and we didn't have a decent map! Arrrgh!

Speaking (metamophorically of course), has anybody found a decent scale, up-to-date map of the area around Hway 27 etc. I know it's changing all the time but when we last looked when we were over there, we couldn't even find a printed map that shows Westridge and we know owners who have had a villa on there for 12 years.
