H y'all
Hoping to visit again next year - been to Tampa, Gulf Coast and Crescent Lakes. Fancy the Orlando area again simply because there is so much to do. As I have been away from the forum for so long, anyone got any ideas about best places to rent a villa. Just me and no 1 son - we did love Crescent Lakes but things are moving so fast in Florida I would like to be 'where its at' so to speak

Look forward to hearing your comments [msnsmile2][msnwink]

You've just asked the world's most impossible question Lisi! Every owner thinks their community is the 'best' and all of the communities are great. Best thing is to try the community descriptions and give yourself a 'flavour' of what's on offer I would think.

Welcome back Lisi [msnsmile]

As for communities, then you really can't go wrong no matter which one you choose, they are all so close to the action of Orlando. Best bet would be to decide what you want in way of a home first, then if you want a resort type community with lots of facilities or a quieter community.

If you have a look at the communitites map here http://www.orlandovillas.com/Map.aspx then have a read of the community descriptions that will give you a better idea [msnsmile]

Obviously we all bought where we did because we love our own community, and just like homes, there are enough choices to suit everyone.

Good luck [msnsmile2]

Thanks for that. I just hope I can find a bit of a deal - there are only two of us - me being a senior and son aged 36. So once we have more of an idea of when we can go - probably September then perhaps I will shop around. I have just done a search and the villas seem so very much better than last time and so many to choose from - the mind boggles. I was telling a friend how cheap they are compared to renting in the UK. No comparison [8D]

can you not find a friend to share with its much nicer to have the villa for the space, and your bound to have an extra bedroom, or does your son have a friend or 2 that would like to share the cost and the fun?

Are you hinting Liesa[msnwink]

All the villas on these three sites are where it's at. You will never be far from anywhere, just decide what it is you want ie; bedrooms, pool, spa and then put up a search and see what comes I'm sure you will have a fantastic time just choosing.[msnsmile2]

the next villa is tho, on Terra Verde, finances allowing we thought as there was only 4 of us, look at something smaller maybe a few quid cheaper, well it all adds up but didnt want rubbish and definately not a hotel but found a beautiful town house on TV with pool great price so have booked that one, and very happy about it, may alternate between the two of them over the years???[msnwink]
