View Full Version : Anniversary Celebrations
During our stay next month it is going to be my mother and father in-laws wedding anniversary, and we are looking for ideas and suggestions on how to celebrate this, possibly as a surprise. Oh by the way they are now nearing their 60's so only sensible suggestions please, we dont want to be sending them bungee jumping etc.:D:D
Thanks

Although We've never been, the Arabian Nights Dinner Show has been highly recommended to us. It is located on the 192 just across from the entrance to Celebration. It was given 2 awards in 1999 for 'Best Themed Restaurant' and 'Best Dinner Show'. You can visit their web site @ WWW.arabian-nights.com, for more info. Don't forget, if you decide to go pick a coupon book, there are always vouchers for money off all the dinner shows.:D
You could do:
- Champagne breakfast
- balloon ride (perhaps not!)
- day at the Gulf Coast- perhaps with boat trip?
- Supper at the Grand Floridian with limo
Just a few suggestions.
How about an overnight at the Wonderland Inn http://www.wonderlandinn.com ? Or a helicopter ride?

If you're looking for a meal there is a new restaurant which has been getting some very good reviews from locals called Seasons52, website is www.seasons52.com the menu is varied constantly.
I'm not sure if it has opened yet, but depending on their tastes the Dolly Parton review with a country theme was supposed to opening in May but haven't seen any comments about it.
Theres is so much to choose from, the list is endless, depending on if you want a meal or some sort of activity, also whether you will be taking children which may influence the sort of place you are going to.
Another idea is the River ship romance for a cruise and dinner dance
www.rivershipromance.com .
Thanks to everyone for their ideas. I like the sound of the river ship romance. I think they would enjoy this.
thanks again:D
