This is going to sound like a really silly question...But how far is the beach from Orlando? My family and I are going to Disneyworld in early July and I am working on making plans for the 9 days we will spend there. I've looked on Mapquest but can't quite figure out how far to the beach. Your reply would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
About 1¾ to Cocoa Beach and I think about 2hrs to Clearwater.

Daytona about an hour...Cocoa Melbourne about 1:15 minutes... nice drive on both....

Melbourne is the nearest beach. It is about an hour or even less if you are staying in a east 192 location.. Head straight along 192 ( main road throught Kissimmee) east as far as you can go until you hit the water. Nice drive. Call by St Cloud market ( weekends) as you drive through.
