Hi, We have a home on Southern Dunes and always take the 417 toll road and then pick up the I4, taking you to hwy27 where Haines City is clearly sign posted.

Have a fantastic time at Southern Dunes[msnsmile2]

Remenber to take some change for the tolls[msnwink]

Don't think it makes a lot of difference except at rush hours (when the South exit to the 417 is quieter and quicker) or if you're renting from Hertz or other off-airport companies (Beeline is easier). The 417 is quieter but has more toll stations to slow you down (and costs you $1.25 more!).

We always use the 417 toll road and have never had any problems.

Have a wonderful time at Southern Dunes!!

Don't forget to give the Sunday morning breakfast buffet at the clubhouse a try!

We always take the 417, the I4 and then Hwy 27 - the same as Denise.

thanks everyone, we have been to Florida before but this is the 1st time we have been doing the driving. Might be a silly question but is the South exit lead straight onto the 417

As you leave the rental area and approach the road bear left and try to get into the middle alne. On a little while and you will bear left onto the link road for the 417 - it's realy easy and clearly signed.
I know you will have a great time on Southern Dunes, I just got back from there and can't wait to go again.
