View Full Version : Maps to download
Hi
Sorry 2 more questions please
Is there a site that anyone knows of that I can download or print
off a decent map of the Orlando area that shows where the parks are
and the roads. Just would like to work out routes before we leave.
Also, we have pre-booked our passes and wondered if we would still get a park map when we went into the parks, if not is there a site
where I could download a map
Thanks
Chris
You can pick up Theme park maps from most shops/stalls in any of the parks, so that's no problem.
Try www.mapquest.com and put in where you are staying and where you want to go and they will give you the best route to use. These maps and directions are printable as well.
I like these sites for detailed map information.
http://www.orlandoinfo.com/cvb2/maps/idrive_map.htm
http://www.orlando-internationaldrive.com/map/default.htm
http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/map/192mapindex.htm
I use MapQuest when travelling long distances but when it comes to detailed maps I do not find that site very useful.
The sites listed above breakdown the main Orlando Tourist areas into small managable chunks and go down to the level of identifying each store/restaurant you can expect to find.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Les
Thanks ever so much, looks like I will be busy studying
no doubt more questions will follow
Thanks Again

If you want to plan your Disney park trips in detail, you can download maps from http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/waltdisneyworld/reservations/transportation/mapindex?id=AllResortsMap
These are in PDF format so you'll need Acrobat on your PC.
The only company that I found that showed our area (Crescent Lakes) was www.randmcnally.com . They produce the road maps that you can buy almost anywhere. They do a driving directions service on their web site as well.

Last time I looked at mapquest.com they had Allamanda Grace and Willow Bend on at last - see http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&addtohistory=&address=&city=&state=&zipcode=34758&homesubmit=Get+Map and scroll northwards a bit.
Thank you all for your help. I have so much information now.
This site is brilliant, whoever runs it deserves a medal there
is so much information and everyone helps..
Well done you all
Chris
Your right John. Looks as if they have caught up at last.
