They are exclusive and hugely expensive properties. I would serously consider a hotel suite which is what we did when we went and that cost enough. You could consider Naples. Driving across Alligator Alley, it is about 50 miles to Fort Lauderdale. It is a straight road and quick journey. There are some rental villas in Naples, dearer than Orlando but a lot cheaper than Miami.
