View Full Version : Removal of Topics
I've just had my topic regarding owning a villa removed from the Ask the experts section.
Can someone explain why please?

It was moved to the Buying A Florida Villa section as that's the best place to ask questions like that.
Sorry John that's got me beat, can you tell me where buying a florida villa is? I thought there should be one but I'm stuffed if I can see it.
Paul
Paul,
It's in the villa owners area which about two thirds of the way down, first topic.

You send an e-mail to this address.......
forums@orlandovillas.com.
Ok thanks Paul I appreciate that.
I don't understand, I've no wish to enter the owners area as I'm not an owner and don't wish to impinge on a forum that's quite rightly dedicated to owners. If my topic is inappropriate and needed to be removed, then that's ok, please forgive me my naivety, however I've checked the forum rules and I don't believe I have.
Wouldn't it be easier if someone explained this to me? It's been made to appear highly conspiritorial.

There is nothing conspiritorial about it. Part of running forums is to make sure posts are filed in the right area of the forums, not only to improve the ease of use of the forums, but to help people better find information you are searching for.
You posted in the Guests area of the forums which is an area for vacation planning and not for asking about buying a villa. The Buying a Villa in Florida section is the right area for that kind fo question and that is where the post has been moved to.
There is nothing more to it than that [msnsmile].

If you send an e-mail to the address I left......John will send you a password into the villa buying part of the forum........you will find all the info you need there........
Ok everyone thanks, I didn't intend to make an issue out of it, It's just that if you shift a topic to an area that on the face of it you're not allowed into, than it seems sensible to tell you.
Enough said on the matter I'm sure, thanks for all the advice.
Regards,
Paul.
