Delta On-line Check-in, Manchester

Does anyone know if you can check-in online with Delta flying out of Manchester? Delta's UK website has been down for some weeks and I find it nearly impossible to get a reply from the US email address.

According to their website, you can only use online check-in within the USA. https://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/itineraries_checkin/about_checkin/index.jsp

It also says the same on their UK website http://www.deltaairlines.co.uk/

We've flown Delta from Manchester a few times and always had to check in at the airport.
