View Full Version : New terminal at Fort Myers finally opening

The new high tech/security terminal at Fort Myers International is finally opening on 9 September. The car parks and car rental sites have all been relocated and a new entrance has been built from the I75 junction. The old terminal and facilities will close when the last flight leaves on September 8.

By coincidence, I am flying into there on September 10 so looking forward to seeing it all.

Hope it does not make it cauotic as it is a nice airport and you can get through and on the road really quickly. We are normally clear and on the road 35 minutes after landing. Shall see for ourselves in November.[8D]

Hopefully there may be direct flights from the UK in the near future; Virgin would be handy if anyone can have a word with "Richard."

Yes that would be good! We fly direct from Europe and it is perfect for us.
