We've been to Typhoon Lagoon, but never to Blizzard Beach and want to go this time. Will our 3 year old have stuff to enjoy, or does it cater for the older children only?

Hi Rosie,
We have been to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach while here with our 4 and 10 year old - we much prefer Typhoon Lagoon as there is something for all ages - we found Blizzard Beach more suitable for older children, even teenagers. Having said that our 4 year old still had plenty to keep him occupied[msnsmile]

We went to Blizzard Beach with a three year old (actually, 3yrs 9 months) and he loved it. He still talks about it and he's now five.

Thanks for all the advice. Our daughter Katie is also addicted, and tells all her friends that Tinkerbell lives in her villa in Florida and the Wizard (the one outside the shop on the 192)is her best friend.

The innocence of youth eh?????[msnsmile2]

We haven't been to TL yet but both our boys love BB, they have quite a good play area for the younger ones.[msnsmile2]

The Tikes Peak section in Blizzard Beach is actually better than Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon.

Our daughter was nearly 2 when we went to Blizzard Beach and we were apprehensive as the only reason we went to BB and TL was because TL was closed for refurbishment and we had always associated BB with bigger slides for teens etc.

There are 2 kiddy areas at BB, one for pre-teens (Ski patrol Training Camp) and one for tiny tots (Tikes Peak).

There is a shallow very warm pool with a couple of slides and also the bottom of the pool is spongy so they don'y hurt themselves if they fall on it. There is also a sand pit and lots of sun loungers in this enclosed area.
