We will be in Orlando for the 4th July. Can anyone recommend the best places to go for the celebrations[?]

Any fop the a parks would be good for fireworks. Celebration puts on a good show too, its free but crowded. If you going to a park get there early as they close the gates due to capacity. We usually just sneek in towards the end (sory not letting on how thats done) as its not much fun when the a park is full and hour plus waits for the rides.
This year we will probably try Kissimmee lakefront which claims the biggest show.

WE have been going to Celebration for the past 2 years. Crowded but very nice as they have all outside stands. Just wherever you go where mosquito repelent as they love crowds!!

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of going somewhere other than the Theme Parks...I heard Winter Park might be worth a look....or will it be too quiet???

This might be a wild card, but it might be worth you doing a trawl through the searches on the Orlando Sentinel website. Might give you some idea of what happened last year and what might be on offer.

There must be some parades going on somewhere? Sorry, we have never been out at that time as our daughters are still at school, so don't break up until mid July every summer!
