I want to buy one of these portable digital storage devices to take on our trip to orlando in october for storing/viewing photo's and videos, save buying loads of memory cards or taking the laptop.

I have been looking at them on e-bay but most of them are imports from hong kong or the USA, for a 20gb version of the iriver it will cost around 170pounds, so i am wondering if it would be worthwhile waiting until we are there and getting one. I have looked at a store on the web called 'target' which sells a variety of makes and has a few stores located in orlando, are there many other stores which will be selling them?

Also, what would the duty at customs cost.

I believe if you buy from wallmart and it breaks you can return it to asda as long as you have your wall mart reciept

Do you mean something like an ipod?
On an ipod, you can store photos and documents, but you won't be able to view them until you return home, or attach your media player to a computer via USB.
I have been looking for a "cheap" media player also.
The best value is, unsurprisingly, in the US.
eg. in walmart, a 20gb ipod is about $230, which is about £130.
I advise you to take advantage of good £/$ exchange rates.
Do keep me updated on prices you've found out.
Hope I helped.
Rachel.
