I am trying to book flight tickets for next summer using my Virgin airmiles plus money and i can only seem to book adult fares - how do i book a seat using my airmiles for my 6 year old son? Has anyone used this way to book seats? Any help would be appreciated :)

We booked using miles plus money for this September, I had to ring the virgin frequent flyer desk to book our grandchildren as we had the same problem as you,the help desk sorted it out for me. Best wishes Eric

Best to ring up as it never seems to work on-line,

I booked virgin miles + money for next year for ourselves with no problems through the normal booking telephone number. We got a great deal and saved around 50% on normal rates.

Thanks - can you tell me the correct phone number to ring to book for next summer?

"Telephone us

Flying Club red - 08701 61 60 59
Flying Club silver - 0845 07 45678
Flying Club gold - 08000 721 234
Opening Hours: 07.00 - 22.00 seven days a week."

I always find the staff very very helpful; about the best I've come across on the various types of "call centres."

we also used this for our trip in November, I was on line to book the adults and on the phone at the same time to book my daughter's. It is a great saving.[msnsmile2]

Yes, that's right. We got our daughter's for £207! They just don't have kid's prices on-line, but you can do them over the phone.
