As I have not flown into Sanford for a few years, can somebody help. My aunt is flying an hour and a half before us from Cardiff this October is there anywhere she could get a cup of coffee or soda while waiting for us to arrive.

We have a similar situation. My mum and aunt arrive at Sanford at about the same time we land at MCO, so they will have to wait for us to get there to pick them up, so will be interested in any info also [msnsmile]

Rosie what day are they arriving, if its the 20th October around 1-3, I could
bring them to Windwood Bay as we have a 7 seater and there are only 3 of us.

Not sure that there is anywhere Rose as your aunt will disembark through the usual route via Immigration Hall (usually good for 30 - 40 mins queuing) then baggage collection hall + possible rescan of luggage then out of the main building over to where the car hire and holiday firms have their offices. I haven't noticed any refreshment places there (there are soda machines though and seats ). My sister in law often comes to meet us and can't venture into the main building, so has to wait for us in the car hire section.
All of the refreshment places I've seen are in the main Departure
Lounge upstairs. You don't come through this area on arrival.

There is a cafe in the domestic arrivals area.

If she collects her luggage etc and walks out of the main doors and then turns right and walks about 20 yards she can then go into the domestic arrivals area. We used this cafe to stock up on pop for us and milk for toddler.

Thank you Graham for the information. As long as she has a seat to sit to do her crossword she will be fine.

Hopefully she won't be sick of her crossword by then! (and of sitting down!!!)[msnsmile] - whatever, I'm sure just being there will be worth the wait!

Rhosyn if you go the orlandosanfordairport website and go to virtual tours, then select virtual tour 7 from the domestic terminal b menu, there is a virtual tour of the area where the cafe and car hire desks are.
