Try looking at Walmart or best buy. These items have come down in price some what since last year. You can buy a 7" screen DVD for about £90 here in the UK. just looking at the Walmart site they do a 7" version for $120 or approx £70.

If you buy a dvd player in florida it will not play british dvd`s unless it is multi region ,we bought a worldwide region player in Old Town ,it is an audiovox.Admittingly it was more expensive working out at around £240 with a case that is a necessarry item to go with it but it does play ANY dvd worldwide region.Be sure to ask which region dvd`s it will play ,a cheap player is not always multi region.

Our son bought a portable DVD player in Radio Shack in the Florida Mall and they showed him how to access the menu to make it multi region.[msnsmile2]

When our son bought his they definately were, things tend to be the same in dollar amounts as in pounds, so $120 would be £120 at home. Doesn't work with everything though.[msnsmile2]

Walmart has some good deals on them, as they are unbranded they might already play region free DVD's.

Also try the florida mall as there are shops like sears, JC Penny that have electrical dept.

To see if it can be changed to play region free, get all the model numbers and then put that number into a search on the net, no doubt if it can be changed it will tell you.

If I am buying any thing in the USA to bring back to the UK I use Walmart because if there is any problem at all with the product I can take it back to Asda in the UK.

I've heard there is a Radio Shack opening/opened on H27, just north of the 192. I'm going to take a look when we go out in 10 days time.
