How strict are the parks at checking kids ages? Last time we were in Florida all kids were younger, so we bought them child tickets, this time two of them will be over 9 and a friend of ours told us not to buy adult tickets for the older ones as the tickets are never checked. Can anyone help?

I don't think they will check. I'm sure if they do, they will allow you to upgrade rather than purchase new tickets.

they ask evry now and again. I dont think its worth it as you have to ask your kids to lie if asked.

Paying adult prices for children is a pain, but then again most kids over 9 are tall enough to ride every ride at WDW. Being scary as I am, I'd end up buying the correct tickets anyway LOL.

I wish they would make up their minds as to what age you stop being a child anyway... some airlines say 12years others 16 years and some even 19 years.

park tickets are 9 years and buses are 16 years.. totally confusing[xx(] thanks folks

The only problem about the kids getting older....it just means we're getting older too. I used to think 40 was ancient!! now i'm not so sure[8D]

trouble is the kids hate to say they are younger than they are and may correct you! Not worth it unless you are happy to say to the child 2if the man ask ....."

I am 42 and my hubby is 45...we waited to have our daughter (Andrea is now 7 years old) late. Yes, as she gets older we get older! I don't know how we will be able to keep up with her in Disney World. [:0]

40 is not too old...if you have small children then yes it's old LOL.
