Has anybody met or seen any celebrities on holiday ? Would be interesting to know who, like us, are Florida fans !
I once saw Phil Mitchel from Eastenders at a Quality Inn on I Drive and we saw Lucy Clarkson the Tomb Raider model in a Sizzalor.
Anyone else seen anyone of celeb (ish) status?

You will only like these if you are a footie fan. We were on the same flight in May 2000 as Alan Thompson then at villa now I think at Celtic. Also that year we bumped into Paul Merson (ex Arsenal, Boro and Villa) by Splash Mountain.

PS to my last one. Just remembered we saw Martin Fowler in 2003 (sorry I can't remember his proper name) in the 50s Prime Time cafe at MGM.

I did see Vernon Kay (T4) with his then girlfriend (now wife) Tess Daley at the airport catching the same flight as me.
They were checking in to 1st class, so I didn't see them again!!

My daughter saw Nicky Byrne from Westlife in the O P O on Saturday evening she got such a shock she was rendered speechless ,a rare thing then she saw his wife Georgina in the restrooms so she knew it was them. She and her sister spent the rest of the evening looking for him .
Chris Evans and Billy Piper at DTD, Kevin from Corrie sat behind me on one of our flights!
In my years as Concorde crew though I met hundreds of celebrities, heads of state, royalty, MPs etc so many I could not list them as it would run into hundreds[msnwink]

Ray Wilkins on a flight to Orlando in 1994, John Virgo at Orlando Hard Rock that same year. Daniella Westbrooke and that Ginger Slapper off Eastenders at Orlando airport, Mickey Mouse at Disney World last year.
Once saw Roseanne Arquette on the beach at Boca Grande, many years ago.. just wish I had the courage to go up to her and ask for an autograph!

Bobby Ball from Cannon and Ball was in front of us at check-in quite a few years back. After he had checked in he turned around and told everybody the flight was cancelled!![msnwink]
When Cannon & Ball were desperate for work they used to appear at the (is it) Macado Centre on International Drive, the spanish esk shopping centre that used to have that silly titanic exhibition, you know the one, well anyway, they used to perform there in the winters of the late 90s.
And yes they were quite funny too !

We saw Cannon & Ball at the Tuppaware Centre in 1993 on our Honeymoon! Support act was Davy Jones from the Monkee's - it was a very good evening all round with buffet etc but boy did it tip it down as we left, we were soaked through as we got on the bus back to our hotel.
It was the first time I had ever seen Florida rain and boy did it rain... flash flooding, thunder & lightning... still gave me a excuse to snuggle up... not that on our honeymmon we needed an excuse...!!!

saw Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid & Cracker) on the top of the Empire State Building back in '99. All I remember of him, as he was stood next to me, was his huge boat sized trainers and he was really miserable and snapped at anyone who tried to talk to him.

in 2000 spoke to joe cole(chelsea) at check in, and then as we were waiting to board spoke to kevin phillips(southampton)and then again at animal kingdom.

You may see Stringfellow at my place if our Christina uses it......she is best friends with his daughter...and he always visits them when they are away........I wonder if he can still get a visa......???

Once when we were in TGI Fridays at Lake Buena Vista we sat on the next table to Kevin Keegan - the famous English soccer coach as the waitress put it! He was with his mother & his wife & 2 daughters. He was very nice & spent time chatting with the children about their favourite football team & signed autographs for them. [msnsmile2]

Our friends saw Richard Branson on one of his planes once. My mate went over to say something really intelligent to him which kind of came out "mmmhfff". To which Richard cleverly replied "Eh?" And that was that.

I was in Publix on 192 and I accidentally wheeled off Ian Beale's trolley. When he confronted me I recognised him and said aren't you that fella from Eastenders and he said "I don't know, is it on today?" how we laughed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

In SeaWorld 2 years ago we saw Sharon Davies walking towards the Hospitality building. Also we had heard that day that the bloke who plays Ken Barlow was also at SeaWorld although we never saw him.

We saw AJ out of Backstreet Boys in Epcot about 5 years ago, when my Dughter asked for his autograph his girlfriend gave my Daughter such a dirty look and said they were there for peace and quiet ( why go to epcot) hence AJ is no longer with that girl.[msnsmile]
