Looks great. Just had a very quick look but will certainly be having a play later.
Just had a look and it is saying that downloads have been temporary suspended.[msnsad]

Typical, you find something good then it gets snatched away.
Better luck another day.

I tried yesterday and it said the downloads were temporary unavailable.
Tried today, and have been successful!!

Found our villa no problem, just about 2 houses out.
Tried to check my home in the UK, it found it, but very blurred. It was weird seeing it zoom out and cross the atlantic to the UK and zoom in again.

My advice would be to keep trying if it says that downloads are temporarily suspended. It is in "Beta" i.e. prototype stage, and they have to keep taking it down to "tinker" with it!!!
This is a fantastic program for finding directions to and from places in Florida. You can even zoom in and work out the intersections if you are not used to driving in the US.

I must admit it is excellent, seems to be about 2 years out of date though in some areas. My Son was most unimpressed that I was not that impressed at first, he thought it was marvellous! His Girlfriend watches lots of sci-fi and would have been more impressed if it was a live satellite camera that she could navigate herself[msneek]

Great, isn't it? [msnsmile2]
Is it just me or can anybody else see Google coming out with some killer GPS and navigation products in the future? It fits with their search background too, it's just not searching for text on a web page but searching for pizza shops in Manhattan.
Tom Tom and Garmin best keep their eyes open.

I wouldn;t surprise me if, in the future, they came out with a real time version, which really would be Big Brother watching!!! [msnscared] [msnscared]

I have managed to download this, but when I try to view anything, all I get is a green screen with small "cuts" in it which look as if the pictures are underneath it! Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how was it resolved?
Thanks
We have kept checking back and now we have managed it, it was worth the wait.

Aiminghigh,
Are you connecting via a dial up connection? If so it's probably not quick enough for the program. Also, it depends where you are looking because some areas are covered in more detail (built up areas etc.)
I hope this clears things up [msnscared] [msnscared]

I can see the castle - it looks strange but then it is a shot from above!
