View Full Version : Subscribed topics
When I have subscribed to topics, I do not get notified if a moderator or John or Roger posts to that topic. Any ideas why? Do other forum members get notified of posts by these people or is it something to do with my ISP again?

John and Roger often contribute to posts like anyone else. I don't think they ever notify people unless there has been some sort of infringement of the rules.
No doubt someone more knowledgeable than myself will be along soon to clarify this, if I have got it wrong.
Hi Angela
It is their ordinary contribution to a thread that I am querying. As they often post their comments in the same way as other forum members why are they not included in the emails I get which say that other people have posted? This is also the same when a moderator posts - no email to inform me despite being subscribed. An example of a thread to which moderators and John and Roger have posted is the long one on advertising to the USA. I have subscibed to this thread and am notified every time anyone posts except if it's the above people.
Now here's an even odder thing. Have had an email timed at 15.18 stating that Tezz has replied to this topic. It is now 16.13 and it is not showing in the thread on my conputer. What is going on[?]

Hi Tezz
Well one mystery solved, you deleted it. I am getting notified when everybody else posts, just not the moderators or John and Roger.
