Hi all,

I just wanted to post these piccies after reading the thread on the flying section about the War Birds Museum. My Brother-in-Law is the one doing the flying. He had a great time especially the aerobatics part.

These were taken about 4 weeks ago so the museum is still up and running.

My dad wanted a go on the MASH helicopter, but ended with Bronchitis which I still think was a way of chickening out!!

Regards

Andy

Andy,

Thanks for the photos. Do they have a big range of aircraft?

Always wanted to try something like this, but fancied a go in something fast, very fast.

Great photos, thanks again.

Hi Craig and Karen,

In answer to your question, As far as I know the only choice is to fly a Harvard (The one in the photos) or fly a M.A.S.H helicopter. I'm sure someone on this forum will have another idea.

Sorry, not much help I know.[?]

Regards

Andy

They are the only ones - there is a jet warbird for hire at Santa Fe, New Mexico IIRC where you get to fly in a fast fighter jet. Looks fabulous but frigteningly expensive.

Always like to look just in case.

Here's the link: http://www.jetwarbird.com/ - the one I looked at was $800 per hour but the nicer planes are double this and then some more. Maybe if I win the lottery ....
