View Full Version : golf advice for a first time florida visitor.
I am visiting florida on the 2nd to the 16th of july and i am looking for good advice on possible golf courses i play of a handicap of 16 and would like to know what course would suit me i am staying at the glenbrook resort and what is best value for money.
Southern Dunes on H27 has a very good 4 and one half star course.
I have sent you a DM Gerry.

If you are staying in the Hwy27/192 area, I would suggest that you start by checking out these two sites.
Thanks
Dave

Our guests seem to like Highlands Reserve,Southern Dunes Championsgate and Kings Ridge
None of the courses should be too expensive in July as it is low season for golf in Florida.
Most if not all courses do a twilight rate, which often starts as early as 2 p.m.
A course that my husband enjoys (as well as Southern Dunes of course), is Diamondback.
Anyone got prices for the courses mentioned?

You may even bump in to Tiger Woods or Ernie Els who apparently play there quite often
