Hi there
We want to book a villa in cumbrian lakes via [DM me for the name] but they only accept cheques. Have had a bad experience in the past. Am very wary of using any payment method other than a credit card.
Does anyone know of this company and their credability.
If this is not legitimate, is there any owner on this site who has a villa in cumbrian lakes, seasons, terra verde, indian point, or eagle point.
We cannot take any chances on this. My wife is recovering from a major operation and we do not want any stess at all.
Many, many thanks.
Hiya,
There are heaps of villa owners on these forums who I am sure would be able to help you organise a fantastic stress-free holiday.
In terms of the homes here being legitimate, every villa advertised has to be independantly verified, so this should give you peace of mind. You can also speak directly with the homeowner and check the exact location of the villa and the facilities available in the home.
Owners on these forums are not allowed to reply via the forums, however they can reply if you send an enquiry out through the attached websites:
www.orlandovillas.com
www.villasflorida.com
www.onlinefloridavillas.com
If you mention on the enquiry exactly what you are looking for (Cumbrian Lakes, wish to pay by credit card, etc.) you should receive replies only from those owners who meet all your criteria.
Have a great holiday.
Hi Lilyofthevalley
Welcome to the forum!
I'm sorry but I've had to remove the name of the company you're asking about and asked people to contact you by DM for the name if they wish to do so.
Sorry to hear that your wife has been unwell and we wish her a speedy recovery.
Why book through a company anyway when you can have a pick of all the great homes on the three OV websites, all verified and privately owned? You'll get to speak directly with the owner and can ask them any questions about their home or the area that you wish.
Unfortunatley, our home owners aren't allowed to reply to requests for accommodation on the forum but, if you put an enquiry into the three sites, www.orlandovillas.com www.villasflorida.com www.onlinefloridavillas.com then you'll get replies from home owners with your requested dates available.
There are no risks with booking a home through any of the above websites as all the homes advertised have been verified as belonging to the owners by the website owners and so all are completely risk free.

so many lovely villas to choose from, and yes we're all wishing your wife a very speedy recovery!![grouphug]
I have nothing but praise for the villa owner we have booked with through this site for our holiday this year. When we were first looking last year we weren't sure of the dates so the owner kindly held them for us for a few weeks. Since making the booking the villa has been improved further, with not even a suggestion of an increase in charges. All queries are answered promptly and as recently as this week we were informed that we could have a late departure from the villa if it helped as the following visitors have cancelled. And we have spent so long looking at the wonderful photos and 3dtour that we feel we already know where the pots 'n' pans are!
Many large travel companies preach 'customer service' but they would have to go a long way to match what we have experienced so far [msnsmile2]

I would get one from this site.(I am not an owner, so nothing to sell)
Have to agree with everyone so far have booked villa`s with a company in Florida and they were good but, lacked the personal touch I have booked a villa through this site this year and the owners have always answered my question thoroughly no matter how silly the question seemed to be. I am sorry to hear that your wife has been unwell and hope she will have a full and speedy recovery and I`m sure a few weeks in the sun will do her the world of good.
Only problem is all the villa`s are fab so set aside a bit of time and pick you favorite one.

Welcome to the forum!
We wish your wife a very speedy recovery from the operation.
Florida will be a fantastic place to recoup after the op.
I am sure you have come to the right place to find the villa of your dreams.
Most things can be organised by the internet these days, and our villas are no different. There is plenty to choose from on here!
Payment methods vary by owner but I am sure that we can reassure you that we are all bonafide owners and 100% trustworthy. We will all try and help you in the best way that we can.
