There is a Michaels on International Drive - next door to books a million - just behind Funzone. They looked like they were also opening one at the junction of OBT and Sandlake Road.

Heather
It may be a bit of a trek but a visit to Mt Dora north of Clermont is the ideal place and if you time it right during October they have an Arts and Crafts weekend.

There is a closer Michaels near to the Florida Mall at the new shopping Mall at the junction of OBT and Sand Lake road.
Jo-Anns fabric also has a craft section and for Memory albums and supplies there is a great shop on the way to Clermont (near the Home Depot on 50).
Walmart has the best value though for most things.

will give her a preview of some of the things they do, like most online stores though there is a lot more to look at in the store. There may be other locations for her to check as well.

Karen is very much into her crafts.
Michaels is a must, even i enjoy it. The place is massive, i think the one at the top end of I-drive, near Belz Factory Outlet store is easist to get to.
Also if you visit, historic Kissimmee, there is a crossstitch shop, very friendly.
A lot of the facotry outlet stores have small areas for craft items. We even found some at the flea markets.

Thanks everyone;I will pass these on.I think she makes cards and does all kinds of needlecraft
We were in the new Jo-Ann's at the junction of 535 and 192 last week. They have at least as much as Michaels and may be more. I would try this one first.
Dave
Heather,
there's a good needlepoint shop going east on the 192, about 1/4 mile past medieval times/wal mart. Sew'n things i think. There's also a new michaels going to open at the new strip mall/ cinema on the junction of John Young and Osceola Parkway. I've got an october date stuck in the brain for grand opening.

If the lady is into rubber stamping then there is one of the largest stamp shops I've ever seen (no of stamps anyway) called Stamp your Art out on Orange BLossom Trail, about midway. haven't been there for a year or so though so I'm assuming it's still there.
Disney have a good selection of memory album stuff in the Disney artist place at Downtown Disney and you can often pick up some bits in the Belz in the Character warehouse.

On our visit in February, we were talking to the owner of Stamp your art out, on OBT. He was selling up and retiring. The shop was great, shame he was closing, but Karen just loved his closing down sale.
If into the new card making [ with embossing] rage, the new Joannes on 192 near walmart ish is very good - a friend of mine is into it and she was pleased to see they even did classes on it there!
