Hi Poolman, don't think you will get any hidden charges, they may try and upgrade you and ask a few questions but I cant see how they would be able to have any hidden charges.

When I was out in March this year the Dollar Clerk did ask whether I wanted to upgrade the Car and something about when returning the car and the fuel levels but nothing to worry about. It just part of their job I pressume.

It depends who you booked with - if it's us then Silver Inclusive means all insurances are paid for - you just need to pay for a tank of gas on arrival.

We have used Dollar on every visit to Florida and, have to agree that, other than the usual question about upgrading everything is inclusive with the package you have chosen.

Same here - we like to pay everything in advance and we have never had anything added.

Im pretty sure the silver used to mean all insurances were included but you had to bring the car back with a full tank of gas. You now have to pay for the fuel before you drive away and return it empty, probably the dearest fuel you will ever buy in Florida unfortunately :(

Totally agree

We go for gold!
Nothing to pay when we get there!
Not a thing, not a sausage!

Gold is only cost effective if you are there for a short period or you have several drivers.

Depends what your requirements are though!

The extra drivers and petrol pay for the extra charge!

The petrol does not pay for the extra charge - unless you are only there for a sh0rt period.(as I stated)

Again as I said, it is worthwhile if you have several(more than 2) drivers

Bill has yet to pay for a tank of petrol, when they say he needs to pay for a tank he always insists that he will take it back full. There has never yet been a problem, they take an impression of his credit card and when we return the car they check the petrol gauge and we always have the receipt for gas to prove that we have filled up close to the airport.
