Just returned home from one of our twice yearly visits to keep the villa in good order. This time we made a bit of spare time and headed North up the US 27 past the Us 50 and took in an afternoon at the Lakeridge Winery. The tour lasts about an hour and is free, it ends with wine tasting and the chance to buy a few bottles.

Other than buying the bottles of wine (by our choice) it is free so a chance to enjoy something a little different on a non theme park day. They have theme days/weekends as well, I picked up some leaflets and left them for guests of our villa and have even considered some own labels and then to leave a bottle of wine as a welcome for each set of guests as they arrive.

We've been too Geoff - an interesting and different place to go (never knew there was a vineyard in Florida).

Did you have the English chap (from down south somewhere if I remember) doing the tour and tasting? He was quite a character and made certain we didn't miss out on any of the "samples"!

We visited the Lakeridge Winery recently too - brilliant! They sometimes have a live music weekend - when we went there was a blues band playing. It was $2 entrance and reasonably priced food for sale.
The tour of the winery and wine tasting is free of charge.
Highly recommended!
