Please help.... before I sift though the painful reading of the U.S immigration policies, does anyone know about Extended Visas for Home owners in the U.S? May want to go for 6 months and wondered what you need to do in a nut shell?

There is no such thing as a special extended visa for home owners. You just apply for a B1/B2 Visa via the US Embassy and this covers anyone for up to 6 months at any one time. It's quite straightforward.

Welcome Wickes! :)

Sounds like you may be talking about a B2 visitors' visa but there are no 'special' visas for home owners!

Have a look here http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/niv/b2.html and do a Search on the forum (at the top of every page) for B2 and you should find lots of help.

Thanks your both really kind for replying so quickly!! Makes you wonder what rights if any investors in property have in the U.S Probably none right!! Was just reading about the other people trying to setup management firms with three properties and getting other rental homes on their books. Looks like that idea ain't going anywhere. Does it help if you have an American who lives here but runs a business from America? Who could possibly sponsor a worker?
