I know this will seem like a stupid question, but do the villa closets contain hangers??

And do MOST of them provide wine glasses and/or martini glasses? (Hey, it's vacation/holiday!) *smile*.

Thanks!

Yes Yes and Yes!

Well all the villas I have stayed in have anyway[msnwink]

Yes, you will find most villas are equipped with everything you need during your holiday. They are like 'home from home' - hairdryers in the bathrooms, oooking equipment, coffee machine, blender........ Best to check with the owner of the villa you book with as they can vary.

But like Debra, check with the owners first.

It is one of my pet hates....Not enough hangers in the closets[msnmad]
Everytime we went to Walmart I think we bought more packs of hangers, and as there is so much room in each closet we bought quite alot. I even bought child size ones for the childrens rooms[msnsmile2] Don't want to stretch all those new holiday clothes[msnsmile2]

Florida villas are the most equipped I've ever come across.

Don't forget only plastic glasses out on the pool area, it should have these too[msnwink]

I always make sure there are plenty of hangers, glasses etc in the villa. Each time we go I check to see if any have gone "walk about" and replace. There's nothing worse than having insufficient hangers for the lovely clothes you buy when you are there.

We too have zillions of hangers, including childrens and the 'clippy' type for skirts, 2 cupboards full of glasses.. juice, wine, beer, champagne then there's the plastic ones for out by the pool.. and I'm sure we're no different to most other owners [beer]

You may also notice all the wire style wardrobe fitting made by a company called Closet Maid or similar... if you go into the DIY stores ..you can see a whole range of it .. and very reasonably priced... I think they are are in the UK as well but on a smaller scale ...

We too have provided lots of hangers in each closet. And each time we visit, we usually buy another pack or 2 from Walmart. I don't like to think of guests having to double up clothes on hangers, you like to be able to open the closet and see everything arranged neatly without having to guess, if something is hiding under something else.

Yes, wine glasses and champagne flutes, you never know when you might have cause for a celebration whilst on holiday in Florida, although for us, I like to think that just being there is reason enough to celebrate.

As others have said, owners usually provide non breakable glassware for use outside on the deck and around the pool area for those rare but unfortunate accidents.

Usually everything you can think of and lots you have noteven dreamed of!

This applies to villas whose owners really care, such as those of us on the 3 OV sites.

Bit of a gamble if you book through a tour company though.

Absolutly - all of the above things. What a was te of a nice big closet if there are no hangers full of new clothes[msnsmile2]

I think most of the Villas are better equipped than our own homes!
Due to the fact that we want you to enjoy yourself more than anything.

We have added loads of hangers to the wardrobes in our villa.

But if you get to your chosen villa and there are not enough, just pick up a few in Walmart, very cheap only a few dollars.[msnsmile2]

Agree with other posters. Our villa has oodles of coat hangers and lots of different style glasses and non breakable glasses for safe pool / sun deck use.[msncool]

You are right, they are better equipped than our own homes in the UK. Plenty of hangers, we even have a dirty washbasket in each bedroom closet as well. Alarm clocks in each bedroom, teddies in each bedroom (they don't count really). In my final letter to renters I tell them what they DON'T need to take.

Its funny that each time you go some of the hangers have gone.

I hate having to double up clothes on hangers so have added loads of different types to our villa. This is another thing we do better than hotels:) Theres never enough hangers in hotels - strange:(

As we are obsessed in our house, with everything must be on a hanger...YES the villa is extremely well equipped hangers. We only use drawers for undies and swimsuits!! [8D]

I like lots of hangers so that I can hang the stuff that can`t go in the tumble dryer and when you have threee boys who live in T-shirts this adds up to quite alot.

I need loads of hangers just for my own stuff, let alone anyone else's. Consequently my place is hanger city!

I would echo every home owner's comments about the villas being fully equipped. A comment made by my last guest was " Every time we opened a cupboard, we were amazed at what was in there". I'd agree that I've probably tried to cater for just about everyone and have more there than in my UK home!

We have lots of hangers but every time we go out to the villa we seem to have MORE! Either they are breeding ;) or our guests are buying lots of clothes and leaving the hangers when they reluctantly :( pack to go home.

Jeff,

Did you ever read the late humerist Erma Bombeck's column on hangers? She said that when you close the closet door, the hangars have sex and multiply. And, sometimes you catch them in the act, therefore can't untangle them. Tee-hee.
