Bringing Friends Kids

I am sure this has been discussed before and I have done a search with all the key words and cannot find the answer - but could anybody tell me what the rules are about bringing a 16yr old that is not a family member to Florida please?

Hi Tricia,
Everything should be fine, BUT it is advisable that you carry with you at all times a written letter of authority stating that you have permission and that he is in your sole care whilst on holiday with you and signed by the 16 year-old's parent or guardian.

It needs to stae that you can give permission for emergency medical attention and should be notarised.
