My husband has tried a couple of times to send a general enquiry to Online Florida villas in the last week or so but it doesn't seem to be working.
He has not received an aknowledging e-mail or any replies.
Do any of the owners know if there is some sort of problem or have you recived the enquiry?
It would have been for April 2006 for 4 bed villa and is from Peter.
I thought it may be him but I have tried today and it didn't seem to register.
Family friends have enquired to both of the other sites recently and they have been OK

Maybe the email address you input is not correct? Can you DM me the details you put in the form and I'll have a look to see if we received it?

I would reliterate with John and check your email. There have been many general enquiries that I have attempted to answer only to keep getting them returned as the email address is incorrect.

I must say the amount of e-mails that are bounced back to me seems to be growing ....:(

There are lots of e-mails that are getting blocked by the receiving mail system. Sometimes we get the message bounced back, sometimes we don't. As John said, send him the details. He'll get to the bottom of it!

We have noticed that sometimes there can a delays for upto 8 hours when receiving the emails from when they were actually posted.

Maybe this is one of the problems?

The number of incorrect email addresses does seem to be rising. Perhaps if the address had to be confirmed by typeing in again it might help. Thankfully you have plenty of time till you go and I'm sure John and Roger will assist you to their best.

All enquiries submitted leave our servers immediately so it may be a problem with your ISP. I know enquiries for my own villa arrive in my Inbox immediately.

We've discussed this many times in the past and do not think it's worth doing. I know I always cut and paste the first email address into the confirm field and suspect many other people do - it would thus be pointless.

If a guest uses an incorrect email address (does not happen very often) then they virtually always come back to us querying the lack of response. We then advise to re-submit the enquiry double checking the email address and it goes through ok.

I still get a lot of mail bounced back if it's for example AOL.

I can send an email to a friend, receive a reply, then the same evening try to send another email only to have it returned.

Sometimes it can be really hit and miss
