Just a quick update to share the good news. Hubby was granted a 10 year visa on the spot at Belfast Embassy last week. Didn't have to wait long to get it either. He was in and out within 45 minutes. Travelling to Belfast was also cheaper than London. He flew from Liverpool Airport to Belfast Internation for £22.50 return. My advice for anyone requiring a visa is to make an appointment at Belfast. Very friendly staff, easy to get to and less waiting around.

That's great news Cook Crew. All you have to do now is look forward to the holiday.

Thanks too for letting everyone know that there is an alternative to the embassy in London, and a better alternative by the sounds of things for anyone non-London based.
