I have been asked to inquire does anyone on the forum know if there are special discounts for O A P or retired people in Orlando. I remember seeing in different places reductions for "seniors". Im enquiring on behalf of two friends of ours who are taking their first trip to Florida this May. Is there anywhere you can get a list of special deals for retired people. Any help would be appreciated by our friends.
In most restaurants and some stores, you'll find senior discounts, just ask if you can't see any! There aren't any discounts for seniors for the theme parks though.

I think you'll find, as well, the age which is classed as "senior" is either 50 or 55, you never have anything to lose by asking.

Seaworld is less expensive if you are over 50 or 55 I forget which as I am over both[msnembarrased].
They also have special activities at on a Tuesday at Seaworld for seniors.
Bob Evans are particularly good for senior discounts but as Blottie said most restaurants do them you just haven't to be shy about asking.
I like the fact that most places let you share an order. As you get older you certainly don't eat all that food and a really good way of saving is to ask to share a meal or order a childrens portion. The only time you can't do this is with a buffet of course:D

Thank you all for your help. Molly and Andy will be delighted with that. Those of us who still consider ourselves teenagers can actually avail of these discounts if its over 50 even if it embarrasses the kids. Bob Evans will definately be on the agenda , any excuse to go there .
