http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541517571_STEAKALEHOUSE.jpg
My first steak meal of the week at the Outback Steakhouse near Universal, and very nice it was tooo.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518138_DESSERTOUTBACK.jpg
Dessert at the Outback which was delicious.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518322_NASCARFISHCHIPS.jpg
Eating Fish and Chips and drinking a beer at the Nascar Cafe while watching the crowds pour out of the 2 Universal parks.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518556_PORKALEHOUSE.jpg
A succulent piece of pork at one of my favorite places to eat...Orlando Ale House.
We had exactly the same meal at the Italian Restaurant in Epcot and though both were equally as good the one at the Ale House was only $10.99 which was more than 50% less and great value.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518826_DESSERTOAH.jpg
Dessert at the Ale House which was bigger than it looks on my dish but i did manage to finish every bit as usual:D

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415181028_SHONEYSBREAKY.jpg
My first breakfast at Shoneys buffet.
After eating bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, hash browns and french toast it was back up to get some strawberries, and fruit.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415181222_PIZZAUNISTUD.jpg
A nice piecs of Pizza at Universal Studios, followed by a great piece of Cheesecake and of course a coke.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518147_STEAKCHILIS.jpg
A place we always visit at least once Chilis for another great Steak with a few Margaritas to wash it down.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415181618_LOBSTER.jpg
My first visit to Red Lobster and my first taste of Lobster and scollops.
The Lobster was very nice but i was not too keen on the shell fish scollops.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415181539_REBMEREDLOBSTER.jpg
We had a few Bellini's at the Red Lobster, with this strawberry one our favorite.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415182053_CHICKENORALE.jpg
I wanted something light this evening after 2 large meals already that day so i had this very nice piece of Oriental Chicken at our 2nd visit to the Orlando Ale House with Pineapple,Mushrooms and chips which were 90% peeled unlike some places in Orlando.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415182422_SWFISH.jpg
A lovely Toasted Fish sandwich at Sea world with fries and coke followed by a nice piecs of Fudge cake...mmmmm.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005415182547_STEAKSTRIMPTGIF.jpg
Another of our favorites to eat is TGI Friday's which is one of the best value restaurants in Orlando.
They have happy hour from 5-7 where drinks are 2 for one and also 75% of the starters are half price.
Think i had 8 Margaritas here this night as well as the steak above and some Shrimp which were all very good and as i said earlier great value.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541518355_PERKINSEGGS.jpg
Even though both the hotels we stayed at had complimentary breakfasts we only ate there once because we love to eat out when on holiday and apart from the all you can eat breakfast buffets my favorite place is Perkins

John you have now got me into trouble. Everyone is complaining because I have been drooling and cheering for all those lovely food pics. That steak at Outbacks, did you have to cut into it first, makes it so mouthwatering that I can almost taste it.Yummmmmmmm!!!!
Have to have another look now, just to refresh my tastebuds.

I am not proud of this fact,But i once ate 6 desserts after a large lunch at the Aladdin hotel last year and i could hardly get up out of my seat afterwards[msnembarrased]

Saying that, what is one to do when confronted by so many delicious choices, except to devour as many as one can before exploding:D

How did you do it!

Trust me,the ones i have posted in here are probable only half of what i actually have[msnoo]
Of course a lot are personal and of no interest to people in here but the ones i did post hopefully were enjoyed by at least some of you as i know i love seeing other people holiday snaps as much as im sure some of you do.
The good thing about digital cameras is that they are relatively small and you can take loads of photos and delete right away the ones that you dont like.

Here is one of no interest of a Squirrel up a tree outside my hotel:D

Sally D
28-04-2005, 18:12
When we are in Florida we never have a starter or sweet, just the main course as they are plenty big enough, but looking at that I think I will skip the main and go just for the sweet[msntongue]

eagleydo
29-04-2005, 02:13
Carol that has to be the biggest dessert that I have ever seen. Where did you get that monster, we had a giant fudge dessert at Lannigans(sorry no photo). It took 6 of us to eat it and if I remember correctly we still left some but even that was smaller than the sweet you have there.

I think i could eat that for breakfast as long as i had only had 2 pancakes with my bacon, sausage, toast, egg and hash browns before getting the cheesecake:D

I did actually eat at the Cheesecake Factory last month, but alas i did not have my camera which was a shame cause the choices were wonderful and after about 30 minutes deciding what to go for i eventually plumped for the chocolate on fudge covered in chocolate with chocolate sauce and chocolate sprinklings piece[msnembarrased]

Good job my daughter swims for 7 hours a week, she does love her food, though that desert was an evening meal and we helped her eat it!! Bit much even for her, on her own!!![msnwink]
I believe it was called the Champions Cup, and we had it at the ESPN bar on the Broadwalk!! If you leave Epcot through the exit at the rear of the park, right as you go past Great Britain, then as you get out of the park turn to the left, the ESPN bar is the first restuarant you come to!! The food in general is great, though from about 16:00, it does get busy, there is often a queue, worth the wait though[msnwink][msnwink]

CarolAnn

Oh Yes!!!! But only because we had lunch at 1230, and nothing else until dinner, and that was at around 19:00!!! And the desert was all we could mange between 3 of us!! It was very nice, and everyone in ESPN cheered when it came out...bit embarrassing...especially as you know they are all thinking...should you really be eating that??????:D
