Here are a few photo's from my 3rd trip to my Favorite park on Sunday 3rd April 2005...ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413192641_IOA.jpg
Excitement rises as i approach the entrance at 9.30am.
They open the gates at 9.45am and away we go.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413192740_IOALAKE.jpg
A quick look across the lake towards The Lost Continent.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413192915_HULK1.jpg
I always head left so i can ride the Hulk a few times before the crowds arrive.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193126_HULK2.jpg
I love this ride and am lucky to do it 4 times in just under 40 minutes including twice from the front seat.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193143_HULK3.jpg
Time to take a few pics of the green monster before moving on,though who knows i may ride it again when i circle the park.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193221_STORMFORCE.jpg
A quick spin on the Storm Force Saucers before heading for the Fear Fall.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193251_DRDOOM.jpg
Oh yes here we are about to be blasted high into the Orlando sky which is Blue,Sunny and Hot even at this early time in the day.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193322_DOOMVIEW.jpg
Time for a quick snap of the park from the top of the Doomster before plunging back down to Earth.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193347_SPIDERMAN.jpg
Next its onto Spiderman probably the most popular ride in the park.
People of all ages love this one and as usual the lines are quite long but only takes 10 minutes to board and enjoy this great 3d ride.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193959_SUPERHERO.jpg
Just time for a quick photo of this Super Hero as its away to get wet.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541319383_TOONLAGOON.jpg
Great ride if you dont mind getting soaked and luckily its already hot so it only takes a few minutes to dry off.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413193910_DUDLEYWATERFALL.jpg
Over the top we go and heading for a Splash landing.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194124_JURASSICPARK.jpg
Next its into Jurassic Park with The Pteranodon Flyers ride above which sadly can only be ridden if you are with a child between 36' and 56'

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/200541320625_DINO.jpg
Dinosaurs are everywhere around here so watch your back at all times or you might end up as a Human sandwich.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194156_JPRIVERADSVENTURE1.jpg
Just as you are relaxing on a nice quite River Cruise out pops another Monster looking for lunch.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194217_JPRIVERSPLASH.jpg
Another soaking awaits as you drop over the edge of the Waterfall.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194320_POSEIDONSFURY.jpg
By the time we get to The Lost Continent we are dry and ready to explore this lost land.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194247_POSEIDONSFURYWATER.jpg
Its now time to enter Poseidons Fury and watch the battle between fire and water or is it good vs evil?
Great show that lasts around 22 minutes.

http://www.orlando-guide.info/forums/Data/ORLANDO_MAGIC/2005413194419_SINBAD.jpg
Time to enter Sinbad theater and get ready for The Eighth Voyage Of Sinbad Stunt Show.

John, those are fantastic photos. That shot of the Hulk with the sun behind the track is just gorgeous.

I just love walking up to IoA. As soon as you see the lighthouse tower and hear the screams from the Hulk you just know you are in for a great day.

Do you mind me asking if you polarised these? The sky is such a gorgeous blue.

No Snapper,i did not polarize any of the pics.
All i have done is decrease the file size and the quality to make them small enough to post in here.

The sky was indeed beautiful for almost all of my 10 days in Orlando except ironically the day and night before my planned balloon flight when a storm passed for just a few hours which were enough to cancel the flight although annoyingly the morning of the planned flight was wonderful and relatively calm but alas a few hours to late.
The photo below was taken at Boggy Creek at 10.30am that very morning and as you can see it was a lovely day.

Still,i now have another excuse to return in the near future, not that i needed much persuading anyway.

John.

My favourite parks, lovely pictures. Bit envious of the one on the loop. Been trying to get that pic for a couple of years now. It is the loop as viewed from the bridge isn't it?
