For some reason i am getting this message when i try to logon to the (long) HG thread which is currently on page 161.
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e31'
Timeout expired
/forums/topic.asp, line 449
Is it me or something else???
Help/advice gratefully appreciated

It looks like the thread has finally reached it's limit size wise. Now you have your own area of the forums it would be better to use indivcidual threads and not one big thread - the speed of the thread will be a lot better too as it does not have to wade through 161 pages of postings in order to display the page each time you view it.
I just managed to post on it ok !

If it's starting to time out then it's the slippery slope I'm afraid. You may well be able to post sometimes on it but if the server is also busy at the time of your request then it's more likely to time out. The more posts on the thread the more this becomes a problem...

yes i agree Trev it looks very nice!
its someone elses villa - i dont know. who it belongs to.
this is a picky from last year when we drove onto highgrove.
i have finally managed to get the shots onto the site. i've put a few of the others in a 'first timer ' photo album.
i still have a few highgroves and a number from millbrook manor before they cleared the ov's off the site. i 'll post them to the mm thread
