View Full Version : Would you attend a Forum Get together?

31-03-2005, 18:22
Just to get an idea of the sort of numbers.........

Manchester/South Manchester (near the airport) area seems to be favourite so would you attend and how many would be in your party - this would help decide the venue needed.

Please state how many adults and children (plus ages of children).

Also anyone interested in organising or help organising?

Yes, dependent on dates but I can fly to Manchester from Sunny Bristol so access is pretty easy.
Me + wife + 5 year old + almost 3 year old.

Incidently I'm off to Manchester tomorrow for the weekend so I will investigate some drinking establishments, purely for scientific reasons of course....[beer]
Anything to see on my 'free' Sunday staying central with no car (DM to keep this thread clear)?

Brizzle.

Depends on dates, I would attend normally but have work commitments taking me overseas again.

Same as most, it all depends on the dates but I would love to come.

I know I am going to be shouted at, but it would be a lot easier without children (IF POSSIBLE). Yes, I do have three of my own and they would hate anything like this and would have a miserable time. Parents would have to see to the children as a priority which would take away the fun of the meeting.

Yes I think its a great idea , Manchester would be a good venue as one of us could pay homage at the shrine of Old Trafford ,I would just shop. The only young member of our family who might travel with us would be my 9 year old , but most probably we would travel alone. Ryanair do good deals , from Dublin to Manchester ,just tell Michael O leary when its on he will raise the fares that week end !

Would love to come.
We live in South Wales, but travelling is not a problem. (The boys will be amused - I love gameboys sometimes too!)
Presume it would be a weekend?
We are two adults and two children aged 11 & 8.

If I'm free I'd love to come. Have one weekend booked already though in June and with a bit of luck might also get a holiday booked in June (probably not florida tho [msncry])
But I'll try to fit in with everyone else...
