Barbara,

Can't say this for sure but at 700 posts you get 4 stars and become a Florida Expert, there doesn't seem to be any change then until 2000 when you 5 gold stars.

I think the answer to your question Barbara is that the numbers aren't advertised... on purpose! ;)

Absolutely - the last thing we want is people posting just to get stars. We'd rather people post useful and informative posts which help the whole community.

It's sometimes hard to get the balance right Barbara.
There are times when I just have to post a one liner especially when something has really made me laugh or on the few occasions when I can think of something witty to say [msnwink]( not very often) but some threads are made up of one liner after one liner or just a series of emoticons, then it just becomes ridiculous[msneek]

I totally agree with Liz; we all do one-liners occasioanlly, even the admins. That is normal human nature and perfectly acceptable. But I think all of us also know that some people put quantity over quality and fill the forums with a lot of meaningless and repetitive posts all the time. That seems a bit 'unsporting'.
