In Orlando we spent a day at Universal and managed to go on ten rides, Keith and I went on The Mummy by doing the child swop and both agreed that this is the best ride in the park. We didn't tell the children that the boat trip would bring them in contact with Jaws. They were all happy to go on this as they had got pretty scared in Twister and Earthquake and thought this ride would be a lot better ..... we thought it was funny when they saw the shark's fin and they both admitted that they enjoyed it. We all enjoyed ET and Back to the Future but weren't that impressed with Men in Black. All in all it was a good day but we all decided that it was hard work and we would be quite happy not doing another park. Fortunately the weather was lovely and hot and we had lots of nice times around our pool and exploring the area. We went shopping to the Florida Mall and Beltz and found Beltz a lot better for shopping but we liked the food hall at the Mall, we like the way you get to sample the food before you decide what to have. We also spent a few evenings at Walmart and seem to have bought loads of presents back, so much that we bought more suitcases whilst we were there so we could get it all home.

The 8 days went by so quickly and before we knew it we were in the car for our return journey to Miami and what a long way it is, took nearly six hours on the turnpike and think it would have been just as easy to go down US27. Had a great flight back with British Airways and landed back to a white covered Heathrow, a bit of a shock to see snow and hard to believe the day before we had been enjoying 82 degrees. Now we are back and planning our next holiday, can't wait. [beer]

Nice report Ringwood. Looks like the Belz malls are recovering after going downhill for a few years.
