Most of the motels here are on the beach and most of it is low-rise. Very tranquil. Beautiful sand and world renowned for its sea-shells. The most strenuous activity in the evening is the collection of these shells with a myriad of people walking along the beach with their heads down which leads to the infamous 'Sanibel Stoop'!
Nice restaurants but can be a bit pricey.
Perfect place to relax after a week in Disney.
