I hope no-one minds me posting this question?

I am in the process of setting up my own business in Handmade Wedding Stationery. I need to secure a business domain and am trying to think of a catchy name!

I already use Chunkichik designs for my cards and my favourite so far is 'By Invitation Only'

I know there are lots of clever people that browse there forums and wondered if anyone had any better suggestions

Many thanks in advance!!

RSVP? Only for you? Customs? Wedding Customs? Confetti (I think that might have been done already)? Calligraphy? Wedding Writes? Vellum Brides?

Is there a prize? :D

Anita
Personally if it were me, I'd go for something that gives you flexibility to expand, as a card maker etc myself I know how easy it is to diversify.
Don't restrict yourself to a name that implies only wedding stationary when the same processes could just as easily be personalised Christening invitations, special birthday parties etc.
Similarly the "By invitation only" may lead people to think you only make invitations, when in fact I assume you are looking at a range of wedding stationery, including Order of Service, place name etc. so you may miss out on some potential customers who want a whole range.

It may help with a website if the word stationery is in the name (I'm only guessing at this) as I would have thought a search for the word stationery would include it in the results.

Thanks for all your replies everyone, Steph, I already have ranges of cards and christening party invitations etc. under my Chunkichik name. I want to keep the Wedding Stationery separate, but wanted something weddingy and catchy if you know what I mean[msnscared]

Liesa, you are too in love lol[sick]

Good luck with the new venture, not very good with making up names i'm afraid but sure that some of the words from the traditional wedding service like "2love&2cherish" would be great.[msnsmile2]

Anita I think 'By Invitation Only' is fine, and when people look at the site they will be able to see that you do thankyou, order of service, menus etc.....

Let me know on the new name and I'll change the name on my website

All the best with the name, its hard trying to fine something your happy with[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]
