No news, the maternity unit is full to bursting (a bit like my sister) she hasn't gone into proper labour and they won't induce her as there is no room free. She's stuck in the anti natal part really dogged off. They wont let her go home as it is very likely they will have to close to addmissions and the nearest unit is already shut. [msncry] Looks like it will be a long wait.
Joke : What do you do if the maternity unit has no beds? Stand and deliver!

I was sick with my son from the first day to the last.....I only put on 6lbs.....if the doctor had known his job I would of had him in 5 mins too.....

I had my daughter in 20 mins....but went from 7 stone to way past 13.....I was lucky to get back to normal in 6 weeks....doctors thought they would have to remove all that extra skin...but it all went back...I must have rubber skin along with my rubber bones.......[msneek]

1st daughter I put only 6lb on, second I was 12lb lighter at 40 weeks than I was before I was pregnant. One way of losing weight, but won't be doing that again. Don't know about daughter 3 as they never used to weigh me then.

Ah congratulations to all of you. 9lb 8oz is a good size.

My three ladies were 7lb 14oz, 9lb 2oz and 9lb 4oz. Babies are a lot bigger these days. I was born in the 60's when a 7lb baby was thought to be a biggun. I would like to say it's good nutrition but I think my mother had a better diet than I do!!
