upgrading tickets

Does anyone know if you buy a 7 day disney ticket that expires and you go to Disney guest relations to upgrade the ticket so it does'nt expire does this include the extra days you have for the water parks etc. Also if one of the tickets is a childs tickets and the next time you return to disney the child is over ten is it still valid.

They will upgade the water park days too. Technically you should upgrade the childs ticket to an adults ticket at guest relations.

sorry to go off topic just noticed the tickets have been renamed as such as magic your way have the tickets changed or is this just rebranding
