Get to the Premuim Outlet just off International Drive South. The Nike, Reebok & Adidas stores are really cheap there

If you think you can be tempted by the prices of sports & outdoor stuff, just spend a few hours at the massive 'Outdoor World' across the way from Belz. You get so many quality stuff at a fraction of the UK prices that you'll end up buying things that you never knew you wanted.:)

Will have to keep my husband away from here[msntongue]
He is into walking, running, cycling, golf, fishing, mountain climbing etc etc
I can see my luggage allowance disappearing if he goes in here.

In that case, you must give the poor guy a chance to have his fun in Outdoor World - it would be almost criminal not to. Tell you what, arrange for him to go there on the last full day of your stay - by which time I expect you would have completed your own shopping.;)

No Nostromo, I don't finish my shopping until I am on the plane and strapped into my seat. Always manage to spot somewhere that looks interesting on the way to the airport.

He has not only got me but 3 daughters too, and this time my sister and niece will be with us[msnsmile2].

We do have to keep a tight rein on him as he has been known to slip away from us, might have to get one on those alarms[msntongue]

I start shopping as soon as I arrive at the airport, it's straight to the Chanel counter, then if anything takes my fancy on the aeroplane. Same on the trip back, although luckily the airports in Florida are all full of touristy stuff which does not apeal to me but I still manage to spend about $30 on magazines to read on the way home! No mention of what I actually spend whilst there as MR CDV might see it!:D

I guess that I must be thankful for the arrangement that my wife and I have always had holiday (or any other type of) shopping. We strictly pay for one's own shopping (apart from gifts) and we have agreed that if either goes over the weight limit (easy for non-US flights) the culprit pays excess baggage too. The arrangement has worked fine for over 25 years and I am not about to suggest a change ;)

PS: I am glad that wifey is not a member of OVF; she might get ideas! :D

The Nike outlet stores are amazing! I got a pair of Basket Ball boots, reduced from $170 to $50 and a pair of trainers reduced from $150 - $50. More T-shirts than you could wear, I just found two that I bought in Florida last July still with the tags on!

My wife kept nagging me last year, yes I know, nagging wife, there is rarity! to get t-shirts and stuff for our holiday, but I, having been a keen reader of this site, told not to be so silly I'll get stuff when we get there. So my case was pretty empty when we got there, I even threw a lot of my old stuff in the trash! but it was full to bursting when we came back.

I miss the Nike outlets. sniff.

Don.
