Rose and Crown in England (restaurant)
Cantina in Mexico (fast food)
Eat in Japan and time you meal to finish just before the fireworks and stand on the balcony to watch

Hi

For $125 you can book a Disney ‘speciality cruise’, which is a 12-seater pontoon, which leaves from the Boardwalk Resort (which itself is within walking distance from Epcot).

The cruise takes just under an hour and they take you around the Boardwalk lagoon, down to MGM, before returning to stop at the side of the Epcot lagoon where you get an excellent and different view of the fireworks.

You can also take your own snacks and drink aboard and have a great time.

They are very popular and can be booked 90 days in advance.

Have fun!

Is that $125 per person or per pontoon? How many do they hold?

Thanks

Per pontoon, I am guesing the hold 12, thats about the amount we had on when Caroline treated us.You can take your own drink and food if you like. If I rememeber correctly we had a rather large bottle of champers becuase the Flying fish only sold that size[beer][beer]Makes for a great end to an evening.

http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida_guide/illiminations_cruise.aspx

The phone number is 001 407 939 7529 from the UK
You need to book 90 days in advance and as soon as Disney opens for the day!

Price was $120 + tax - they will provide soft drinks and some kind of food, but much better to eat first and take your own favourite tipple on board;)

I'l try and find a photo:)

It really was good fun, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the price - it does make a change to be pleasantly surprised by a price;)

That sounds really good - we may book this up for our wedding anniversary as this happens while we are away this July. It would be something really different to do especially as we could take some champagne with us! My in-laws are coming with us this year for their first trip to Florida so it would be great to do something special and a bit different for them as well. As long as it doesn't get too choppy and rough in the boat as my daughter doesn't really like boats much!![xx(]

It's not choppy at all:) but you really do need to be on the phone at 7am Florida time 90 days before you want to go, it took me several attempts to be one of the first four callers!

We fly out on my hubbys birthday so it might be a bit much to do this on the same evening, but I guess the night after would be good. Perhaps we should any of us going on the same dates should get together and have an epcot fireworks orlando villas booze cruise!!! would save a bit of money too!!

Please don't anyone book them in mid January 2006 as that is when we hope to take at least one if not two for our wedding party (postponed from June due to late arrival of villa)! For around $200 you can have the boat decorated with balloons etc. and drinks and food provided.
