Which DSLR are you going for Semper?

I can personally vouch for the Nikon D70. I've had one for a couple of months now and have found it to be a great piece of kit.

Canon 300D. Some good deals on at the moment, a friend has one and it is outstanding.

That's also an excellent piece of kit Semper. You'll have a great time with it.

I've tried both Snapper and while both take great pictures, The Canon 300D is no match to the Nikon D70 in build quality. The former has too much of a 'plasticky' feel for comfort.

Just asked the boss ('er indoors) and was met with a flat refusal[msnsad][msnsad]

My pleading involved using the phrase "but my dad had one like that when we used to go on holiday" (obviously not digital)[msnembarrased]

Needless to say, this didn't work[msnsad]

Ah you need to point out things like. "i can get great photos of the kids" or "Imagine the photos i'll be able to get of the holiday, it will make it all the more special".

All else fails then sulk. Works for me. [msnwink]

Sulking it is then!!![msnsad]

Doubt very much ut will work though!! Mel's argument is we already have a digital camera and a digital video camera, so why do we need another.....hence the line about "my dad....etc."

Ah well, Christmas will be here before you know it[msneek][msnscared][msneek][msnscared]

Thats the argument my other half came up with. Hence having to sell this one. I'd keep it otherwise. You can never have to many toys.

This, my friend, is both true, and greatly misunderstood by beloved wife!!

Had to put that in in case she reads this!!!
